ABOUT US

WHO ARE INCITE POTENTIAL?

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?

A quarter of participants receiving support in this area are seeing this come from the largest organisations. It is difficult to find tailored experiences that match exactly what is needed for you as an individual when you are one of so many people coming through the door. This is why at Incite we build the experience on 1:1 support. From the first meeting, to walking into that dream job for the first time, you will always be seen for your potential, not deficits. There's enough talk of impairments in the sector, it's time to talk about strengths! We are passionate about building capacity and independence. It may be cliche, but it's true. Our job is to restore agency in people's lives.

At Incite we are always passionate about supporting individuals to build independence and maximize their potential in their own lives. This is why we have now added a branch of employment assistance to be delivered by an expert employment navigator.

Assistance in navigating employment means we can assist in all aspects of gaining and maintaining employment. We would love to see as many people find fulfillment in pursuing work that they find meaningful.

WHAT IS EMPLOYMENT SUPPORT?

Employment assistance as a support has emerged due to the NDIS's recognition that this has historically been an under-serviced and under-recognised need within the scheme. Access is now really straightforward! All you have to do is be able to say yes to these two questions:

1. Are you of working age?

2. Do you have an employment goal?

If it sounds too simple, it's because it is! Anyone who feels they just need an extra hand to close the gap between where they currently stand and their ideal employment opportunity is encouraged to access this support.

 FAQs

  • The funding for support coordination is calculated based on the hourly rate of $100.14. This is what we charge and we work in 15min increments. Further details on how this funding is utilized can be found on our resources page, or you can reach out to discuss this further.

  • We service participants all across Brisbane, as well as the surrounding areas in South-East Queensland including Moreton Bay, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Logan, Ipswich and Toowoomba. We are also happy to offer telehealth services if meeting in person isn't a priority. You can speak to the team further to find out more.

  • At this stage we are not a registered provider, so we are only able to bill from self-managed and plan-managed support coordination funding. However, if you believe our service is right for you, we can assist in requesting the funding be changed to allow for ongoing engagement. You are welcome to speak with us further on what this process looks like.
