With a diverse professional background, Conrad brings real-world experience and lived wisdom to his role as an Employment Assistant. His career spans over a decade in trades and management, including painting, concreting, roofing, and retail store operator and manager. This broad experience has given him practical insight into the realities of the workforce and the transferable skills needed to succeed across industries.

In early 2023, motivated by a longstanding interest in youth and mental health support, Conrad transitioned into the community services sector. Drawing on his personal journey of recovery and experience supporting a sister with complex disability, he approaches his work with empathy, authenticity, and a deep understanding of the challenges people face.

Recognised for his ability to build rapport quickly, Conrad helps participants feel comfortable, understood, and empowered. He combines professional experience with a strengths-based approach, showing people that meaningful employment is achievable through persistence, creativity, and self-belief. Even when traditional pathways are not the right fit.

Conrad is particularly proud of his own recovery journey, his achievements as a small business operator, and his ability to support others in overcoming barriers. Today, his work is driven by a commitment to helping participants gain independence, develop skills, and secure employment opportunities that align with their strengths and goals.
