With over a decade of experience in human services, including disability support, youth work, foster care, and corrective services, El brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to her role as NDIS Employment Specialist.
Her career spans both government and non-profit sectors, where she has led multidisciplinary teams, facilitated employment pathways, and developed trauma-informed, culturally responsive supports.
Motivated by a personal journey of recovery after being diagnosed with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, El has turned lived experience into purpose. This pivotal life event sparked a deep commitment to supporting others with disabilities and mental health conditions, particularly those facing systemic barriers.
Known for her calm, reflective approach and ability to build trust in complex situations, El is a strong communicator with a passion for strengths-based, inclusive practice. Her work is grounded in social justice, risk management, and empowerment, qualities that earned them the Key Assets Executive Leadership Award in both 2023 and 2024. One of El’s proudest achievements is leading a prison-based employment program with an 83% post-release employment rate.
Having relocated from Guernsey to Australia to further her rehabilitation and human services career, El is driven by a belief in the transformative power of meaningful support. Whether championing inclusivity, building capacity, or helping participants reach their employment goals, she remains inspired by resilience, creativity, and the power of human connection.
